NGANYA

Inspiring courageous leadership that enables long-term change.

Nganya is an agency hybrid of consulting and coaching, using lived experience and a people and relationship-focused approach to capturing Indigenous engagement. Nganya teaches us about connection, responsibility, and new beginnings while holding space for us to learn the most significant lessons of humanity and culture, beyond the words we hear. Wow!

Their clients often include Government agencies, large corporate companies, private businesses, not-for-profit organisations, Aboriginal community-controlled organisations as well as non-government organisations.

Dixie, Nganya’s founder,  supports and challenges organisations to make valuable and sustainable social change for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and with her unique approach and purpose, we reckon she and Nganya are straight-up amazing.

Their goals?

Ready to refresh her brand, Dixie came to Inka with goals that were as clear as day, ready to evolve and ascend into Nganya’s next phase. These goals included;

  • Evolve in order to represent the growth of the business, as well as represent who Nganya truly are and the difference in their offerings

  • Truly reach and connect with their audience

  • Gain clear strategies and guidelines to help the brand be consistent in look, feel, voice and messaging

  • For Nganya to be the go-to business for someone looking to build a robust Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

  • For Nganya to be the very best at their core offerings, rather than do everything and spread too thin

  • To grow a team that aligns with the values of the business in order to scale and make a more significant impact

Enter Inka

We absolutely love uncovering all the delicious layers of a brand, and with a business as deep and meaningful as Nganya - we knew we were in for a treat. After an epic and insanely insightful brand exploration session with Dixie, we went on to create Nganya’s Brand Architecture which included everything we uncovered about this extraordinary business as well as some methods of how we reckon Dixie can smash her biz goals.

Inka also prepared and created Nganya’s brand visual identity, which would go on to inform the brand design, website design and style guidelines across the board. Following on from that we had a consultation sesh to nut out the direction of Nganya’s website design and their planned photoshoot.

The result?

Coming to us originally under the biz name Source Nation, all of this served as the ultimate catalyst of clarity for Dixie. Not only did she change her businesses name to Nganya, but she was also able to get the ball rolling on completely reinventing the biz, making her vision and goals a reality. Using the Brand Architecture, Brand Visual Identity and style guidelines that we created for Nganya, Dixie executed a complete brand refresh, design refresh, new website, and stunning photoshoot which complements every aspect of the brand. What an incredible transformation!

“You and the entire Inka team have nailed it and I am so grateful…You are all brilliant at what you do and I want to should it from the rooftop!”

— Dixie Crawford, Nganya
